Indian stocks suffered heavy losses on Friday as weak IIP data for September and a slight uptick in October CPI inflation dampened investor sentiment.

The benchmark S&P BSE Sensex closed at 25,610.53, 256.42 points or 0.99 percent down from the previous close of 25,866.95, with a turnover of 500.48 crore rupees (about 75.7 million US dollars). Endit
