Emerson Alcantara named coach of Yangon United football club

Brazilian Emerson Alcantara has been named the head coach for Yangon United Football Club, according to Myanmar Football Federation here on Thursday.

   Alcantara signed a one-year contract on Wednesday with the club which will take part in the Toyota Mekong Club Championship 2015, the federation said.

   Alcantara said he will do his utmost to achieve success in regional tournaments, which the club targets.

   Alcantara started his career as a football coach in 1999 and had coached several Brazilian clubs. He coached Myanmar's Manaw Myay FC in 2014. Endi
