Indian stocks closed lower on Monday as investors reacted nervously to the defeat of the BJP in Bihar assembly polls.

The benchmark S&P BSE Sensex closed at 26,121.40, 143.84 points or 0.55 percent down from previous close of 26,265.24, with a turnover of 593.19 crore rupees (about 89.4 million U.S. dollars). Endit
