Urgent: Chinese president arrives in Singapore for state visit

Chinese President Xi Jinping arrived in Singapore on Friday for a state visit to the Southeast Asian country at the invitation of his Singaporean counterpart Tony Tan Keng Yam.

This is Xi's first visit to the city-state after he took over presidency in 2013. It is also the first state visit hosted by Singapore after the Sept. 11 election. Endi
