El Salvador to host Junior Men's Epee World Cup

For the fourth consecutive year, El Salvador will host the Junior Men's Epee World Cup to begin on Saturday, local press reported on Wednesday.

   A total of 32 fencers from 17 countries and regions will participate in the tournament, including Central American countries, Russia, Croatia, United States, Cuba, Puerto Rico, Bolivia, Austria and Bulgaria.

   Cristian Edenilson Mejia, gold medal winner last year against Austrian Lukas Puchacher, will represent El Salvador.

   In 2012 and 2013, Mejia won bronze medal in El Salvador.

   The tournament is organized by the Salvadorian Fencing Federation, supported by the International Fencing Federation and the Pan-American Fencing Confederation, as well as the Salvadorian Olympic Committee and El Salvador's National Sports Institute.

   The competition will be held at Carlos Famoso Hernandez Sports Palace in San Salvador.  Endi
