Half-naked girls strut through Beijing’s CBD

Editor's note: A dozen scantily-clad Chinese women, with QR codes printed on their bodies, paraded through the streets of Beijing’s Central Business District (CBD) in an alleged marketing effort to win followers on a social networking app around midday, Nov. 3, 2015.

The scene attracted many onlookers who rushed to pull out their smart-phones and snap pictures.

The bikini-clad women were stopped by the director of a property management company responsible for the district after police warnings.

The stunt caused a scene and produced a huge buzz on the Internet.
