British FTSE 100 increases 0.01 pct on Monday

FTSE 100 Index, the British benchmark stock market gauge, Monday increased by 0.01 percent, or 0.71 points, to close at 6,361.80 points.

Share price of Glencore increased by 2.67 percent, topped the gainers of the blue chips. Ashtead Group, Travis Perkins, Barclays and Royal Bank of Scotland Group increased by 2.00 percent, 1.98 percent, 1.98 percent and 1.79 percent respectively.

Hikma Pharmaceuticals led the top losers of the blue chips with a share price drop of 4.99 percent, followed by Compass Group (3.49 percent), easyJet (2.11 percent), TUI AG Reg Shs (1.65 percent) and Whitbread (1.65 percent). Endit
