French stock market index up 0.38 pct on Monday

The French stock market benchmark index CAC 40 finished the trading day with an advance of 0.38 percent to close at 4,916.21 points on Monday, up 18.55 points.

The CAC 40 of Paris closed slightly higher on Monday with 26 of the 40 selected stocks gaining advance.

The top three gainers on Monday were Renault, up 4.22 percent, ArcelorMittal, up 3.98 percent, and Saint Gobain, up 1.98 percent.

The three companies whose stocks dropped most on Monday were LVMH, down 1.00 percent, Pernod Ricard, down 0.98 percent, and Kering, down 0.86 percent.

Unibail-Rodamco stayed the same as previous trading day.

In the previous trading day, the CAC 40 closed with an advance of 0.24 percent to close at 4,897.66 points on Friday, up 11.84 points. Enditem
