Mexican president encourages F1 drivers

Xinhua, November 2, 2015 Adjust font size:

Mexico's president Enrique Pena Nieto on Sunday encouraged the Formula 1 drivers who took part in the Mexican Grand Prix held in Mexico City, local media reported.

In Twitter, Pena Nieto wished a great race to the drivers participating in Mexican GP at Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez, the circuit located in eastern Mexico City.

"To all the drivers at #F1MX, I wish them a great race. @Mexico and the world are watching you," said Pena Nieto in Twitter.

After 23 years, F1 returned to Mexico. This time, the Mexican flag is carried by driver Sergio "Checo" Perez of Force India, who is part of the list of six Mexican drivers who have reached F1. Endi
