Xinhua, November 1, 2015 Adjust font size:
A group of 15 Venezuelan professionals will travel to China in November to be trained in technology transfers, announced China's telecommunication giant Huawei on Saturday.
According to a press release by Huawei's branch in Venezuela, this delegation will make the trip as part of an agreement between Huawei and Caracas, laying out the seeds for the future program.
The objective of this program is for Huawei to help "boost local industry in countries with which it has strategic alliances" such as Venezuela.
The training will take place in Huawei's specialized centers in Beijing and Shenzhen, where the professionals will study about the latest trends in the technology, information and communication (TIC) industry, corporate culture and management.
Wu Di, manager of Huawei's branch in Venezuela, pledged in May that his company would continue to try to improve the quality of life of the Venezuelan people.
"Huawei will continue to strengthen its technological capacities, its transfer of knowledge, cooperation, innovation, and the bolstering of new technologies (in Venezuela)," he said at the time.
In Venezuela, Huawei has already commercialized numerous technologies and products, including telephone infrastructure, data processing and IT support services.
Furthermore, it has helped the interconnection of the national network with the latest telecommunication technologies. Endi
