Battle of champions in U17 World Cup quarters

Xinhua, November 1, 2015 Adjust font size:

FIFA Under-17 World Cup quarter-finals will see a historic battle of champions when Brazil take on holders Nigeria in Vina del Mar on Sunday.

Three-time champions Brazil will face four-time winner Nigeria for the first time at this level.

Vina del Mar is a lucky place for Brazil, who played host to four of Brazil's games in their victorious World Cup campaign in 1962.

Nigeria will try to stop Brazil with the great offensive work of Victor Oshmhen, who has scored seven goals in four games.

The other match between Croatia and Mali will be played in Nelson Oyarzun Stadium, located in Arenas.

Croatia played in and won their first U17 World Cup knockout game against Germany in the previous round and face Mali for the first time.

The winner between them will make their first ever U17 World Cup semifinals. Endi
