Soldiers urged to note new political proposals

Xinhua, October 30, 2015 Adjust font size:

The General Political Department (GPD) of the People's Liberation Army on Friday urged service personnel to take note of the outcomes of a key meeting that discussed China's development plan in the next five years.

Chinese leaders made proposals for the country's 13th Five-year Plan (2016-2020) at the Fifth Plenary Session of the 18th Central Committee of the Communist Party, convened from Monday to Thursday.

The GPD said in a circular that understanding the proposals is crucial to China's goal of building a well-off society.

It asked officers and soldiers to remember the achievements the country made during the 12th Five-year Plan, and understand the new ideas of central authorities in governing the country. Endi
