Xinhua, October 30, 2015 Adjust font size:

The Federation of International Football Associations (FIFA) has rescheduled the dates of the 2018 first round qualifying matches between Uganda and Togo.

Ahmed Hussein, the Uganda FA spokesperson, said on Thursday that they received communication from FIFA confirming new dates as Nov. 12 in Lome, Togo before the return leg on Nov. 15 in Uganda.

The games were originally meant to take place on Nov. 11 and the return leg Nov. 14.

Uganda has never qualified for the World Cup but was last at the Africa Cup of Nations in 1978 when they lost to hosts Ghana in the final.

Other fixtures in the Council for East and Central African Football region are Tanzania vs Algeria, Kenya vs Cape Verde Islands, Libya vs Rwanda, Burundi vs the Democratic Republic of Congo, Sudan vs Zambia, and Ethiopia vs Congo Brazzaville. Endi
