Zenit St. Petersburg's star, Brazilian striker Hulk has told local media in Russia's northern capital that he would like to remain with the club "until 2025" if Zenit's fans and management will have him.

The 29-year-old's current contract with the club expires in 2019, but Hulk expressed his desire to stay on longer if he is wanted.

"I am very happy here," Hulk said. "I love St. Petersburg, I love Zenit and our fans."

After joining Zenit in 2012, Hulk was the leading goalscorer in Zenit's successful Russian Premier League campaign in 2014/15.

He has scored 17 goals in 10 matches so far this season, including three UEFA Champions League strikes.

Hulk was also named Champions League Player of the Week this week after a strong showing in Zenit's 3-1 win over Lyon on October 20.

Zenit currently sit in a comfortable position on top of Group H of the Champions League, with three wins from three matches. Endit
