Ding Junhui beaten at second round of World Snooker International Championship

Home favorite Ding Junhui was eliminated at the second round in a 5-6 loss to Ryan Day at World Snooker International Championship here in Daqing, China.
Ding for the first time lost the first frame in this year' s International Championship as Day hitting a 71-point break. The top player of China fought back with winning four out of the five following frames. An 108-point break helped Day take the seventh and the eighth back before Ding got himself the 5-4 record.
Ding had the chance to the third straight win tonight after the 5-5 tie. Then he missed the key red one to let Day win 68-29.
"I will be practicing for the following tournaments," Ding didn' t say much on his performance after the match, "I wish other Chinese players could reach the top at Daqing."
Tian Pengfei and Zhou Yuelong each had a 6-3 and 6-0 victory this afternoon. The former defeated Liang Wenbo in a China derby. Marco Fu also enjoyed a 6-3 win.
Mark Williams followed defending champion Ricky Walden and world champion Stuart Bingham to be eliminated this afternoon as Thepchaiya Un-Nooh of Thailand beating him 6-5.
World No.4 Neil Robertson outscored Fergal O' Brien 6-3 to advance to the next round.
"In the early rounds the top players need to play well to win, you can' t just start slowly and still expect to win. The last 16 and quarterfinals will be difficult but it' s enjoyable to play so many competitive matches." said the Australian. Endi
