One refugee died and three others were slightly wounded after being knocked down by a car overnight, a local news channel reported on Tuesday.

The victims were struck by a car in the town of Cologne, near Calais, where 6,000 migrants mainly from the Middle East have been camping out to try to get to London via the Eurotunnel Channel, BFMTV said. (France-Refugee Crisis)

ISLAMABAD -- Pakistan army said on Tuesday that at least seven border troops were killed in firing from Afghan side of the border.

RAMALLAH -- Three Palestinians were shot dead on Monday by the Israeli army in separate incidents in the southern West Bank city of Hebron, a center of violence for the past few days, Palestinian medical sources said.

The Palestinian Health Ministry announced that 19-year-old Iyad Jaradat was killed during clashes with the Israeli army in Sair town northeast of Hebron. (Israel-Palestine-Conflict)

RIYADH -- One person was killed and some others injured in a suicide blast that targeted a mosque in Najran city, South Saudi Arabia, the Saudi Interior Ministry said on Monday.

The attack took place when worshipers were leaving the mosque after performing sunset prayer, the ministry said, adding the bomber detonated his explosive belt. (Saudi Arabia-Suicide Blast)
