Chinese shares open lower Tuesday

Chinese stocks opened lower Tuesday with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index dropping 0.60 percent to open at 3,409.14 points.

The Shenzhen Component Index opened 0.85 percent lower at 11,588.94 points. The ChiNext Index, tracking China's NASDAQ-style board of growth enterprises, opened 1.20 percent lower at 2,497.16 points. Endi
