The Pakistani government and army have kicked off a rescue and relief operation in the areas where an earthquake measuring 8.1 on the Richter Scale played havoc, reportedly killing over 220 people and injuring 1,200 others on Monday, officials said.

Pervez Rasheed, the information minister of the country, said that the rescue operation in the affected areas has been started and the government is developing a plan of action to help out the victims. (Pakistan-Quake)

JERUSALEM -- Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Monday that his country intends to make no territorial concessions to the Palestinians in the "foreseeable future," Israeli media reported.

"At this time, we need to control all of the (West Bank and Gaza Strip) territory for the foreseeable future," Netanyahu told a meeting of the parliament's Security and Foreign Affairs Committee, according to Israel's Ha'aretz newspaper. (Israel-Palestine-Territory)

WARSAW -- Polish National Election Commission confirmed on Monday that the right-wing Law and Justice has won Sunday's parliamentary election with 37.58 percent of votes.

The National Election Commission announced that Civic Platform has won 24.09 percent of votes, Kukiz'15, 8.81 percent, Modern, 7.6 percent, United Left Wing, 7.55 percent, Polish People's Party, 5.13 percent.
