Manchester City taps Brazilian youth

Xinhua, October 24, 2015 Adjust font size:

Manchester City will reportedly be given first option to sign youngsters from Brazil's Corinthians under a cooperation deal struck between the clubs.

City have already secured a first refusal deal on Corinthians academy starlet Vitinho Moura, according to local media reports.

The 15-year-old completed an impressive trial with the Sky Blues earlier this month, scoring a goal in an U-16 match against Newcastle United.

Manchester City are understood to have agreed to allow the Brazilian club to send coaches to the English club's academy next year.

The agreement is part of a wider effort from City to tap South American football's best young talent before they become established stars, reports said. Endi
