French stock market index up 2.53 pct

The French stock market benchmark index CAC 40 finished the trading day with an advance of 2.28 percent to close at 4,802.18 on Thursday, up 107.08 points.

Always boosted by the European Central Bank's quantitive easing projection and China's lowering interest rates, the CAC 40 of Paris closed higher on Friday with 39 of the 40 selected stocks gaining advance.

The top three gainers on Friday were Kering, up 10.60 percent, Valeo, up 4.74 percent, and Airbus Group, up 4.61 percent.

The only company whose stock dropped on Friday was Alcatel-Lucent, down 0.79 percent.

In the previous trading day, the CAC 40 closed with an advance of 2.28 percent to close at 4,802.18, up 107.08 points. Enditem
