Spanish stock market rises 1.07 pct, closes at 10,476 points

The Spanish stock market index Ibex-35 rose 1.07 percent on Friday to close at 10,476.30 points, up from the 10,365.40 points of Thursday.

Shares values were up 2.4 percent in the week as a whole with the Spanish risk premium falling from the 122.30 points of a week ago to the 112.80 of Friday session. Spain's 10-year bond interest rate closed at 1.76 percent, which was above the 1.64 percent of a week ago.

On Friday's session Mediaset shares led rises climbing 5.21 percent, followed by Acerinox, Inditex, Telefonica, IAG and Indra A that rose 4.40 percent, 3.07 percent, 2.60 percent, 2.51 percent and 1.95 percent respectively.

On the other hand, Bankia shares led falls losing 3.64 percent, followed by Caixabank, FCC, Banco Popular, Bankinter and Banco Sabadell that lost 3.26 percent, 2.04 percent, 1.71 percent, 1.60 percent and 1.45 percent respectively. Endit
