LME base metals mostly decrease on Friday

The base metals prices on the London Metal Exchange (LME) closed lower mostly on Friday on the strength of the U.S. dollar.

U.S. dollar index, which measures the greenback's strength against a trade-weighted basket of six major currencies, was up about 0.61 percent to 96.97 later in session.

The three-month unofficial copper price dropped 64 U.S. dollars, or 1.22 percent, to 5,193 U.S. dollars per tonne.

The three-month unofficial aluminium price lost 17 U.S. dollars, or 1.12 percent, to 1,501 U.S. dollars a tonne.

The three-month unofficial lead price lost 23 U.S. dollars, or 1.29 percent, to 1,755 U.S. dollars a tonne.

Besides, the three-month unofficial zinc price lost 9 U.S. dollars, or 0.51 percent, to 1,755 U.S. dollars a tonne.

The three-month unofficial nickel price increased 127.5 U.S. dollars, or 1.23 percent, to 10,515 U.S. dollars a tonne.

The three-month unofficial tin price lost 125 U.S. dollars, or 0.78 percent, to 15,825 U.S. dollars a tonne. Endit
