Italian Modolo puts on yellow jersey in 2015 Tour of Hainan

The owner of green jersey, Sacha Modolo from Lampre - Merida (LAM), grabbed another victory at the fourth stage in 2015 Tour of Hainan on Friday, and also overtook fellow Italian in general individual classification to put on the yellow jersey.

The fourth stage stretched from Haikou to Chengmai, covering a total distance of 237 kilometers with two intermediate sprints.

Claiming his victory timing 5:41:28, Modolo finally grabbed the yellow jersey from Andrea Palini of Skydive Dubai Pro Cycling Team (SKD) in the stage, and keeps the green jersey representing the best sprinter, while Wang Meiyin from Hengxiang Cycling Team (HEN) obtained the blue jersey representing the best Asian rider.

Modolo said, "It was a very long stage and also hard one even there is no hills, to finish it makes me very happy. Now we have the yellow jersey, we need to chang the tactic from tomorrow.'

This year's Tour of Hainan will last nine days, and the next stage that scheduled on Saturday, shall be a stretched race from Chengmai to Qiongzhong, covers 191.9 kilometers. Endi
