Dynamo Kiev draws 0-0 with Chelsea in UEFA Champions League

Xinhua, October 21, 2015 Adjust font size:

English Premier League giant Chelsea was forced to a goalless draw by Dynamo Kiev in their UEFA Champions League Group G match on Tuesday night at the Olympic stadium in the Ukrainian capital.

The guests controlled the proceedings during the whole first half and at the beginning of the second half, but their chances were denied by an outstanding performance of Dynamo's veteran goalkeeper Alexander Shovkovskiy.

The hosts took over the game only in the 15 closing minutes of the match, but they produced no obvious goal-scoring opportunities.

With the draw, Dynamo stayed on the second position in the group with five points on the board, while Chelsea is third with four points.

Portuguese Porto leads the standings with seven points, while Maccabi Tel-Aviv remains without a point after three games. Endi
