Chinese vice president meets Japanese lawmakers

Chinese Vice President Li Yuanchao met with a delegation of lawmakers from Japan's Liberal Democratic Party (LDP) on Wednesday.

Li said long-term and stable bilateral ties are in accordance with the interest of the peoples of the two countries.

China attaches great importance to ties with Japan and stands for advancing bilateral ties on the basis of the four political documents signed by the two countries and in a spirit of drawing lessons from history and facing up to the future, Li said.

Nakagawa Toshinao, who leads the delegation, said LDP is willing to promote win-win cooperation with China through exchanges between political parties and young politicians. Endi
