Dollar changes hands in upper 119 yen zone in early Tokyo

The U.S. dollar changed hands at the upper 119 yen level early on Wednesday in Tokyo.

At 9 a.m., the dollar was quoted at 119.80-81 yen compared with 119.79-89 yen in New York and 119.64-66 yen in Tokyo at 5 p.m. on Tuesday.

The euro fetched 1.1353-1354 dollars and 136.02-03 yen against 1.1340-1350 dollars and 135.91-136.01 yen in New York and 1.1347-1349 dollars and 135.76-80 yen in Tokyo late Tuesday afternoon. Endit
