Iraqi air forces on Sunday struck a convoy of Islamic State top leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi in the western province of Anbar, but Baghdadi's fate is unknown, the military said.
"The Iraqi air forces managed to bomb the convoy of criminal terrorist Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi while he was travelling in Karabla area near the town of Qaim on border with Syria," a statement said. (Iraq-IS)

ANKARA -- Forty-nine rebels of the outlawed Kurdish Workers' Party (PKK) were killed in the military operations in southeastern Turkey and northern Iraq on Saturday and Sunday, a Turkish military statement said.
A total of 14 PKK members were killed during air raids on Saturday in southeastern Lice town of Diyarbakir and 35 PKK members were killed on Sunday during the air raids in Metina and Zap regions in northern Iraq, according to the statement issued by the General Staff of the Turkish Armed Forces.(Turkey-PKK)

SANAA -- At least 20 prisoners were killed when warplanes of the Saudi-led coalition bombed a prison in Yemen's southern province of al-Bayda on Sunday, medical sources and witnesses said.
The prison which held more than 100 prisoners was controlled by the Shiite Houthi group, the sources said, adding that up to 30 others were wounded in the airs raids. (Yemen-Airstrike)

RAMALLAH -- A 13-year-old Palestinian boy was shot dead in the West Bank on Sunday evening in clashes with Israeli soldiers near the city of Ramallah, the Palestinian health ministry said.
The ministry said in an emailed press statement that Ahmed Sharaka was killed by a gunshot in his head fired by Israeli soldiers in the clashes at one of the Israeli army roadblocks near Ramallah.(Palestine-Clashes) Endit
