1st LD: Center-left SPO gains first place in Vienna regional election

Center-left Austrian Social Democrats (SPO) gained first place in the Vienna regional election, statistics showed on Sunday.

The SPO got nearly 40 percent of the vote, less then the election in 2010, while the Austrian right-wing Freedom Party of Austria (FPO) got the second place, obtaining around 31 percent of the vote, the highest after World War II. Endit
