French stock market index up 0.18 on Thursday

The French stock market benchmark index CAC 40 finished the trading day with an advance of 0.18 percent to close at 4,675.91 points on Thursday, up 8.57 points.

The CAC 40 of Paris realized its fifth consecutive advance on Thursday with 25 of the 40 selected stocks gaining advance.

The top three gainers on Thursday were Publicis Groupe, up 2.32 percent, Solvay, up 1.78 percent, and Michelin, up 1.39 percent.

The three companies whose stocks dropped most on Thursday were Veolia Environnement, down 1.36 percent, Schneider Electric, down 1.13 percent, and Societe Generale, down 1.30 percent.

Credit Agricole stayed the same as previous trading day.

In the previous trading day, the CAC 40 gained an advance of 0.14 percent to close at 4,667.34 points, up 6.7 points. Endit
