Top advisory body to convene in November

China's top political advisory body will hold a meeting in early November.

Yu Zhengsheng, chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) on Friday presided over the 35th chairpersons' meeting, at which the schedule and agenda of the 13th meeting of the Standing Committee of the CPPCC National Committee was decided.

The meeting will focus on studying important messages from the soon-to-be-convened fifth plenary session of the 18th Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee.

The CPC's key plenum will be convened this month and discuss the 13th five-year plan of national development (2016-2020). Endit
