British FTSE 100 increases 0.61 pct on Thursday

FTSE 100 Index, British benchmark stock market gauge, Thursday increased by 0.61 percent, or 38.47 points, to 6,374.82 points.

Share price of Fresnillo increased by 4.14 percent, topping the gainers of the blue chips. BHP Billiton, Burberry Group, TUI AG Reg Shs and Tesco increased by 3.52 percent, 2.54 percent, 2.47 percent and 2.41 percent respectively.

Inmarsat led the top losers of the blue chips with a share price drop of 3.89 percent, followed by Glencore (2.86 percent), Wolseley (1.49 percent), Marks & Spencer Group (1.48 percent) and Aviva (1.33 percent). Endit
