LME base metals rise on Wednesday

The base metals prices on the London Metal Exchange (LME) closed higher on Wednesday amid increased speculation that the U.S. Federal Reserve will not raise interest rates this year.
Oil prices also rose due to an escalation in conflict in Syria and a weaker dollar. Brent crude rose to 52.08 U.S. dollars per barrel during late session.
The three-month unofficial copper price increased 15 U.S. dollars, or 0.29 percent, to 5,222.5 U.S. dollars per tonne.
The three-month unofficial aluminium price increased 18 U.S. dollars, or 1.15 percent, to 1,579 U.S. dollars a tonne.
The three-month unofficial lead price increased 39 U.S. dollars, or 2.39 percent, to 1,674 U.S. dollars a tonne.
Besides, the three-month unofficial zinc price increased 39 U.S. dollars, or 2.34 percent, to 1,703 U.S. dollars a tonne.
The three-month unofficial nickel price increased 277.5 U.S. dollars, or 2.79 percent, to 10,240 U.S. dollars a tonne.
The three-month unofficial tin price increased 112.5 U.S. dollars, or 0.71 percent, to 15,987.5 U.S. dollars a tonne. Endit
