Urgent: U.S. dollar falls as rate-hike expectation dims

The U.S. dollar decreased against other major currencies Tuesday as the country's downbeat economic data lowered market expectation for an interest-rate hike by year-end.

In late New York trading, the euro rose to 1.1273 dollars from 1.1180 dollars in the previous session, while the dollar bought 120.27 Japanese yen, lower than 120.47 yen of the previous session. Endit
