LME base metals close mixed

The base metals prices on the London Metal Exchange (LME) closed mixed on Tuesday.

The three-month unofficial copper price increased 3.5 U.S. dollars, or 0.07 percent, to 5,207.5 U.S. dollars per tonne.

The three-month unofficial aluminium price increased 2 U.S. dollars, or 0.13 percent, to 1,561 U.S. dollars a tonne.

The three-month unofficial lead price maintained at 1,635 U.S. dollars a tonne.

Besides, the three-month unofficial zinc price lost 11 U.S. dollars, or 0.66 percent, to 1,664 U.S. dollars a tonne.

The three-month unofficial nickel price lost 12.5 U.S. dollars, or 0.13 percent, to 9,962.5 U.S. dollars a tonne.

The three-month unofficial tin price increased 325 U.S. dollars, or 2.09 percent, to 15,875 U.S. dollars a tonne. Enditem
