French stock market index up 0.95 pct

The French stock market benchmark index CAC 40 gained an advance of 0.95 percent to close at 4,660.64 points on Tuesday, up 43.74 points.

With the petroleum price going up, the CAC 40 of Paris closed higher on Tuesday with 32 of the 40 selected stocks gaining advance. Unibail-Rodamco stayed the same as previous trading day.

The top three gainers were Renault, up 5.75 percent, Credit Agricole, up 4.08 percent, and Peugeot, up 3.93 percent.

The three companies whose stocks dropped most on Tuesday were Vinci, down 0.97 percent, Capgemini, down 0.63 percent, and Sanofi, down 0.36 percent.

In the previous trading day, the CAC 40 gained an advance of 3.54 percent to close at 4,616.90 points, up 158.02 points. Endit
