British FTSE 100 increases 0.95 pct on Friday

FTSE 100 Index, the British benchmark stock market gauge, Friday increased by 0.95 percent, or 57.51 points, to 6,129.98 points.

Share price of Fresnillo increased by 4.80 percent, topped the gainers of the blue chips. Glencore, Randgold Resources Ltd., Aberdeen Asset Management and Standard Chartered increased by 4.37 percent, 4.22 percent, 3.34 percent and 2.92 percent respectively.

Experian led the top losers of the blue chips with a share price drop of 3.81 percent, followed by Wolseley (Wolseley percent), Persimmon (1.67 percent), International Consolidated Airlines Group SA (1.55 percent) and Berkeley Group Holdings (1.48 percent). Endit
