Ghana has moved two places up to the 25th position in the latest edition of the FIFA World Ranking released on Thursday.

The Black Stars, runners-up at this year's Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON), gained 22 points to increase its total points build-up from the previous 827 to 849.

The Black Stars, Group H leaders of the ongoing AFCON qualifiers, are still third on the continental table behind Algeria and Cote d'Ivoire.

Germany has moved to the second spot behind Argentina while Belgium moves to third.

The results of 149 international 'A' matches have been taken into account in the October FIFA/Coca-Cola World Ranking, of which 48 were World Cup qualifiers in the CONCACAF (12), Asia (30) and Oceania (6) zones, and 75 were qualifiers for confederation championships in Europe (50) and Africa (25).
