Urgent: Gold falls for fifth session despite weak U.S. dollar

Gold futures on the COMEX division of the New York Mercantile Exchange Thursday fell on Thursday for a fifth straight session, even as slightly worse-than-expected data dragged the U.S. dollar, stocks lower.

The most active gold contract for December delivery lost 1.5 U.S. dollars, or 0.13 percent, to settle at 1,113.7 dollars per ounce. Enditem
