Vietnam to broadcast 2,000-episode animated cartoon featuring national history

Vietnam will broadcast a 2,000- episode animated cartoon featuring Vietnamese history from Thursday night on its national television.

The animated cartoon "Hao khi ngan nam" (Thousand-year Magnificence) tells the story of Vietnamese history from the early years of the founding of the country to the end of the imperial era.

Each episode will be broadcast in five minute with story of one historical character or historical event.

The cartoon is expected to help audiences learn more about the country's history, said Vietnam Television on its website. Endi
