Chinese premier congratulates Singapore's Lee on re-election

Chinese Premier Li Keqiang on Thursday congratulated Lee Hsien Loong on his re-election as Singapore's prime minister.

In a message, Li said that China and Singapore are close and friendly neighbors, and that pragmatic cooperation between the two countries in various fields has deepened and scored significant achievements since the two countries established diplomatic ties 25 years ago.

The Chinese government highly values the development of friendly cooperation with Singapore, said Li, and China is willing to continue its close cooperation with the country and further promote bilateral relations. Endi
