Both Merlion statues at the Merlion Park will be taking turns to undergo restoration works in October and November, said Singapore Tourism Board (STB) in a news release on Thursday.

These works will be carried out to restore the water features of both Merlion statues. While the works are in progress, both statues will be hoarded up and will not be available for photo- taking during these periods, said STB.

The Merlion cub will be hoarded up from Oct. 8 to Nov. 17, followed by the main Merlion statue from Nov. 3 to Nov. 26. Endi
