Xinhua, October 1, 2015 Adjust font size:

A Melbourne man whose car was hit by a train says the GPS lead him onto the tracks.

The Australian Broadcast Corporation reported that the 25-year- old claimed that he followed the instructions of his direction- assisting device, before becoming stuck on train tracks in Melbourne's north.

The driver quickly realized the error of his ways but could not reverse the car.

He jumped from the vehicle before the passenger train collided with it shortly before midnight on Wednesday. Endi
