China stocks close higher on Wednesday

Chinese shares closed higher on Wednesday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index up 0.48 percent to end at 3,052.78 points.

The Shenzhen Component Index gained 0.39 percent to close at 9,988.25 points. The ChiNext Index, which tracks China's NASDAQ-style board of growth enterprises, lost 0.76 percent to close at 2,082.67 points. Endi
