Macao's tourism promotional video wins UNWTO award

Macao's tourism promotional video was entitled winner of United Nations World Tourism Organization ( UNWTO)'s tourism video competition, according to Macao Special Administrative Region Government Tourist Office on Wednesday.

The Video, "Vibrant Moments Experience Macao", was chosen as the "Winner of the UNWTO Tourism Video Competition for East Asia and the Pacific" in the UNWTO Tourism Video Competition.

Launched for the first time, the competition aims to recognize creative works by UNWTO members in the field of destination promotion. Over 50 video clips were submitted among which the judging panel picked out the best for each of the regions including East Asia and the Pacific, Africa, Europe, Americas, South Asia as well as the Middle East.

Macao's Tourist Office has been dedicated to promoting Macao with a variety of multi-media strategies. "Macao Forever New Experience" campaign has won Best Media Campaign Bronze Award of the Spark Awards 2015 in Hong Kong, and "Experience Macao" campaign got Best Media Solution Bronze Award of the Spark in Singapore. Macao Tourism Promotion & Information Center in Portugal was elected as the "Best International Tourism Office" in the twelfth edition of the Portugal Travel Awards in 2015.

The Tourist Office said they will keep adopting innovative ways in accord with trends and performance of different markets to attract visitors. Endi
