10 security personnel killed in N. Afghanistan

Ten security personnel lost their lives in Qush Tapa district of Jauzjan province on Tuesday, deputy to provincial police chief, Abdul Hafiz Khashi said.

"A man in uniform threw hand grenade to a checkpoint in Qush Tapa district today morning killing four security personnel on the spot and prompting six others to run away but militants waiting nearby opened fire and killed all the running six soldiers," Khashi told Xinhua.

Without giving more details, Khashi said that efforts are underway to identify and bring to justice those behind the brutal murder. Endi
