Man attempts suicide by cop on Australia's Gold Coast

A man who allegedly pointed a gun at police on Australia's Gold Coast city yelled at officers to shoot him in an apparent attempt of the suicide-by-cop syndrome.

Police documents released on Tuesday alleged Troy Currey, 27, yelled "shoot me, shoot me" during a stand-off with police on Monday morning.

Currey has been charged with numerous offences, a court was told on Tuesday. Endi
