Urgent: U.S. stocks rally amid housing data

U.S. stocks pared part of early gains to end higher Monday, as investors meditated on the U.S. existing-home sales.
The Dow gained nearly 0.8 percent, and the S&P 500 added 0.5 percent, while the Nasdaq edged up less than 0.1 percent. Endit
