French stock market index up 1.13 pct on Tuesday

The French stock market benchmark index CAC 40 gained an advance of 1.13 percent to close at 4,569.37 points on Tuesday, up 51.22 points.

With the good performance of Wall Street, the CAC 40 of Paris closed higher on Tuesday with 36 of the 40 selected companies gaining advance.

The three companies whose stocks dropped most on Tuesday were EDF, down 3.58 percent, Unibail-Rodamco, down 0.59 percent, and Accor, down 0.57 percent.

The top three gainers on Tuesday were Total, up 3.07 percent, Safran, up 2.27 percent, and ArcelorMittal, up 2.16 percent.

In the previous trading day, the CAC 40 slightly dropped by 0.67 percent to close at 4,518.15 points, down 30.57 points. Endit
