Zimbabwe beats hosts Congo in 2015 All Africa games soccer tournament

Zimbabwe's soccer team will return back home with their heads high after stopping hosts Congo in the last Group A game at the 2015 All Africa Games.

Zimbabwe who had already suffered defeats to Sudan and Burkina Faso made sure they picked a 1-0 win over the hosts at the Stade Alphonse Massemba Stadium.

While the Zimbabwe team head home, Congo have officially joined Nigeria and Senegal in the semi-final stage. The fourth team to qualify was yet to be decided as Sudan was facing Burkina Faso in a deciding match on Sunday night.

The semi-finals will be played on Sept. 15 and the finals two days later. Defending champions Ghana were ejected in the group stages after they drew 0-0 with Senegal and lost 2-0 to West African rivals Nigeria. Endi
