Xinhua, September 12, 2015 Adjust font size:

Kei Nishikori (4), David Ferrer (7), Marin Cilic (9) and Milos Raonic (10) will take part in the 2016 edition of Mexico Open tennis tournament, to be held from Feb. 22 to 27 in Mexican resort of Acapulco.

According to local daily El Universal, tournament's director Raul Zurutuza said in a press conference held Friday that "This is a good beginning. They are all good players. People are demanding Raonic very much, and we will also have Nishikori, Cilic and Dimitrov, who are having a great moment."

Zurutuza added that "the key to have these players is that the tournament has changed the court's surface."

Also, Grigor Dimitrov (17), was announced to take part in Mexico Open.

Nishikori, who lost in the US Open first round, will try to win the title, which he lost last year. He was one of the favorite players of the Mexican fans.

Ferrer, the current champion, will seek his fifth title in Acapulco. He has won in 2010, 2011, 2012 and 2015.

Cilic and Raonic will debut in Mexico Open, while this will be Dimitrov's third participation. He won in 2014. Endi
